With the Hawk 18, Graupner presents a powerful 9-channel receiver featuring an integrated 3-axis gyro and particularly vibration-resistant 3-axis accelerometer, diversity antennas, variometer, and mode for fixed-wing models or rescue mode and orientation mode for helicopters.
With the GRAUPNER HoTT 2.4GHz technology, the receiver has a secure hopping telemetry transmission RF section with high-quality components and state-of-the-art software. The receiver transmits parameters such as “receiver voltage,” “receiver temperature,” “signal strength,” “altitude,” and “height difference (variometer)” to the transmitter without additional sensors. It is also possible to transmit and display the Euler angles on the transmitter.
The antenna amplifier, together with the antenna diversity, ensures an enormous range. The faster 32-bit L4 processor guarantees energy-efficient operation, and the higher performance ensures that the Hawk 18 can also be used as a flybarless system for helicopters and as a flight controller for multirotors. Of course, the integrated Hawk gyro system can also be perfectly utilized for fixed-wing models. There are 4 different gyro modes: OFF, normal stabilization, heading lock, rate mode, and orientation mode. The rate mode allows for knife-edge flying and torque turns without control corrections when set correctly. Extremely fast, easy, and comfortably adjustable via the HoTT transmitter telemetry menu.
Just like its namesake, the falcon, the Hawk 18 embodies determination, power, and precision. Go hunting for the perfect flight with the Hawk.
Flächenmodelle
Stabilization of the model aircraft in difficult wind conditions for up to 3 axes
Natural flight behavior through proportional gyro blending
Difficult-to-handle aerobatic models can be flown very gently with the 3-axis gyro, making aerobatics extremely easy
Aerobatic figures can be flown much cleaner
4 different gyro modes: OFF, normal stabilization, heading lock, rate mode for particularly easy knife-edge flight and simple torque turns, as well as orientation mode
Easy setting of gyro assignments
Parameter adjustment via HoTT telemetry
Software with orientation mode allows for easy landings even in difficult wind conditions
5 free mixers
SUMD output for connection to flybarless systems, flight controllers, or a power box
SUMDIN input for redundant receiver operation
Flybarlesssystem für Helikopter
Rescue mode and orientation mode for helicopters
Basic settings can be done in a few minutes via HoTT telemetry
Fast and innovative axis assignment allows for flexible mounting direction
Extremely space-saving due to size, weight, and elimination of cables, allowing for easy storage
Special vibration-resistant 3-axis sensors of the latest generation
Pirouette optimization of the swashplate and direction of tail rotor torque compensation are automatically detected
Compatible with all common heli swashplates 90/120/135/140 degrees and 90 degrees 4 servos
Adjustable swashplate rotation up to 90 degrees for multi-blade heads
Clear standard and selectable expert menu as needed
Sensitivity parameters during flight can be adjusted based on RPM and style, also flight phase-dependent via sensors
Super fast due to elimination of transmission time from the receiver to the flybarless system
Very direct control feel
Programmierung für Helikopter
Easy programming of basic settings via telemetry
Pirouette optimization is automatically determined from the parameters and works extremely well
Extreme flight stability while maintaining full 3D capability even with basic settings
Effects for tail and swashplate can be easily adjusted via the telemetry menu or selectable sensors
Additional optimization options in expert mode for personal flight style and individual preferences

Graupner, based in Kirchheim, Germany, was founded by the family Graupner and, up until March 2013, operated under the third Graupner generation from Stefan Graupner. In March 2013, the company was purchased by the manufacturer of Graupner HoTT RC Transmitter Systems. Graupner covers a large RC assortment including RC Cars and Trucks (GM), Helicopters, Airplanes, RC Electronics (HoTT 2,4GHZ), Chargers, RC Glow-Powered Motors (OS) as well as a large variety of Electric-Powered Brushless Motors. Graupner supplies around 2000 retailers throughout the world.
